  • We are an outdoor facility, and masks are welcome, but not required.

  • Instructors wear masks when needing to interact with visitors closer than 2m
  • Between visiting clients, all equipment is washed with alcohol. Including, but not limited to: arrows [with the exception of feather fletching], bows, knives, axes, etc.

COVID-19 Update

We would like to thank those who expressed their support and concern about our last update regarding the uncertain future in the Niagara Region that Barefoot Bushcraft faces at this time. We remain determined to do our very best to continue running our facility as long as possible but still encourage people to book, come out, and enjoy our facilities and classes.

Today we had hoped that we would be able to increase the number of participants, however the Niagara Region is not moving into Phase 2 at this point in time. However, we want to let you know that we have put in place a number of COVID-19 safety protocols that will allow participants to enjoy archery while still practicing government mandated social distancing.

We have added “Range Time Only” as a booking option. This ensures you can still come out with your own equipment to shoot Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday and be the only group on our property. You pay range fees at the time of booking so it is a cashless interaction.

Due to the many limitations and restrictions being place on our organisation, we need your support! If you would like to see Barefoot Bushcraft weather this storm, please book a time to shoot and share our posts. We need the support of our wonderful archery family to help us remain open when so many business’ are closing their doors.

For more information on making a reservation or on any of our COVID-19 protocols please Visit our website, or email us at

Please note only 4 lanes will be available for reservation and we are happy to schedule a time that works best for your schedule during the day/evening throughout the week.

Thank you for your support.

COVID-19 Update

Archery is an individual activity you can still enjoy while practicing physical distancing.

Barefoot Bushcraft is committed to your safety. We have put in place the following COVID-19 health and safety protocols:

Physical distancing between participants: all lanes are marked to ensure they are 6″ apart.

Limited number of participants at our facility. A maximum of 4 participants and an instructor

Strict disinfecting of facility and rented equipment.

60 minute sessions to allow for cleaning protocol and manage traffic flow.

Hand sanitizer to be used upon arrival.

Non-medical masks not required by participants as we are outdoors, but are welcome.

JUNE 3 – 2020

Covid-19 Update

We are currently open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please book online using our website. Only 4 people may come out to a scheduled appointment.

We feel it is important to let you know that due to the extended state of emergency and restrictions placed on business’ the future of Barefoot Bushcraft operating in the Niagara Region is uncertain at this time. We will do our very best to continue but the social distancing restrictions have limited our ability to run the facility. Thankfully we have been blessed with a wonderful landlord who is willing to work with us. However, recent by-law issues not being able to run regular classes, parties, camps, events, league and restrictions on the number of participants it is going to be difficult to continue operating in the area.

Open Range time for experienced archers with their own equipment will also be by appointment only.

We will be providing further updates once we have clearer picture of the future of Barefoot Bushcraft but with all the uncertainties wanted to provide this update.

March 19, 2020
