Pulling The Ferro Rod – Instructor Wolf demonstrates a more efficient way to pull the Ferro Rod. During fire starting, many people may be tempted to push the fire striker down the shaft of the ferro rod, which creates good spark, but also risks hitting the pile of tinder and throwing tinder everywhere.
